Even if you’ve never done market research before, finding gaps in the market is easy if you know the right search operators. We’ll take you step-by-step through finding market gaps using nothing more than Google, Reddit, Facebook Groups, and Podia's spreadsheet template.

What you’ll do is go to a community site with a lot of users in your topic. This can be on Reddit, Facebook Groups, Slack Teams, Etsy Forums, and many others. 

Here is a handy list of our favorite terms to pair with your topic ideas while you’re searching. Be sure to search using double quotation marks so you’re finding exact matches for your course topics (at least on Reddit and Google).
